One of the most inspiring aspects of the CCCU Conference was the sense of community among attendees. Despite representing diverse institutions and backgrounds, participants were united by a common goal: advancing and protecting Christian education in the country. 

Through collaboration and shared expertise, CCCU leaders are working together to address the unique challenges facing Christian higher education institutions. Whether it’s advocating for policies that support religious freedom or sharing best practices for integrating faith into the curriculum, this community is committed to ensuring that Christian colleges and universities continue to thrive in an ever-changing world. 

 

As educators and leaders in this community, it is evident that there is an expectation to serve in a multifaceted role. From academic administration to fundraising, from student support to community engagement, CCCU leaders find themselves consistently being asked to do more with less. It is incredibly inspiring to witness what these individuals have managed to accomplish at their institutions, but we should not dismiss the extremely high expectations resting on their shoulders. This makes conferences like this all the more important. Finding community is a motivating force for so many in this space as they navigate balancing their diverse responsibilities with upholding the values and mission of Christian higher education institutions. 

 

It’s hard to open any social media or news app without seeing something about the advances of artificial intelligence. The higher education world is not immune to this boom and this was ever present at CCCU. As technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace, it has become increasingly clear that AI will play a significant role in shaping the landscape.
